Mercedes G with 4 motors

Out of Spec tested the electric Mercedes-Benz G 580 in the beautiful Joshua Tree National Park in California.

Like the Rivian, the electric Mercedes G-class has 4 motors. The G 580 has a combined power of 432 kW and 859 lb-ft / 1164 Nm. Thanks to four separate motors, it is possible to do 360-degree turns on the spot. Another cool feature is the possibility to monitor the road and stones underneath the car from the dashboard display, without having cameras under the car! Check it out:
