Formula E

Kim Java made a video about the Formula E racing car technology:

The third generation Formula E racing car has a 250 kW motor at front and a 350 kW motor at the rear axle, but according to the regulations, only the rear motor can be used for acceleration. During braking an electric motor becomes a generator and the two motors provide 600 kW of charging power. The battery is designed to accept 600 kW charging and this helps to harvest around 40% of the total energy used in the race!
